These Health, Safety & Use Guidelines ensure that GYMLAB™ equipment is used responsibly and safely.
Any activity involving motion or height carries risk. Mats and protective gear reduce—but cannot eliminate—the possibility of injury.

1. General Safety Statement

  • Use equipment only under supervision of a qualified instructor or responsible adult.
  • Attempt skills appropriate to the participant’s training level and physical condition.
  • Always warm up, stretch, and rest adequately.
  • Mats reduce impact but do not replace proper progressions, spotting, or coaching.

 


2. Who These Guidelines Are For

  • Schools, clubs, academies, gyms using GYMLAB™ equipment.
  • Coaches and instructors responsible for safe practice.
  • Athletes and guardians expected to follow posted rules and staff direction.

3. Environment & Setup

  • Place equipment on flat, dry, clean surfaces.
  • Keep run-ups and landings clear of obstacles.
  • Maintain good lighting, ventilation, and avoid extreme conditions (direct sun, humidity, heat).
  • Secure large apparatus per manufacturer guidance (anchors, bolts, anti-slip, or wall/floor mounts).

4. Installation & Anchoring (Large Equipment)

  • Follow the product’s E-Licence/manual for torque specs and anchor patterns.
  • Use qualified technicians for drilling, bolting, welding, or rigging.
  • For ceiling/rigging items, ensure inspection/certification by a structural engineer.
  • Perform load tests or functional checks before public use.

5. Pre-Use Inspection (Before Every Session)

Inspect for:

  • Tears, seam separation, loose stitching, foam damage, unstable feet, bent frames, frayed straps, air leaks.
  • Remove from service any unsafe item; tag it “Do Not Use”.
  • Verify mats are placed flush and secure around apparatus.
  • Suggested Quick Log: Date · Area · Item · Checked By · Condition · Action Taken.

6. Use Guidelines (By Category)

  • Mats & Landings → No gaps, secure with straps, choose correct thickness.
  • Beams & Bars → Check fasteners, ensure stability, matting on all sides, trained spotters only.
  • Vault & Springboards → Clear run-up, stable board, use safety collars and crash mats.
  • Rings, Trampolines, Air Track → Inspect mounts, enforce one-at-a-time rule, inflate Air Track only to recommended PSI.
  • Walls, Padding, Foam Pits → Wall pads secured, foam pits deep and clean, no head-first entries.

7. Supervision, Ratios & Age

  • Maintain coach-to-athlete ratios appropriate to skill and age.
  • Children must never use equipment unsupervised.
  • Post facility rules at entry and near apparatus.

8. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Use proper footwear, grips, guards, attire (no jewelry, tie long hair).
  • Provide spotting blocks, sanitizer, and safety aids where needed.

9. Cleaning, Disinfection & Storage

  • Use mild cleaners; avoid solvents.
  • Dry thoroughly before storage.
  • Store in cool, dry, shaded areas; protect from UV and heat.
  • Deflate inflatables for storage; avoid creasing near valves.

10. Incident Response

  • Stop activity; secure area.
  • Provide first aid and call emergency services if needed.
  • Record in incident report (date, time, item, witnesses, actions).
  • Inspect and remove affected equipment.

11. Warranty, Misuse & Modifications

  • Warranty terms appear in each product’s E-Licence.
  • Misuse, unauthorized modifications, or repairs void coverage.
  • Repairs must be performed only by trained personnel using approved parts.

12. Product Recalls & Safety Notices

  • Recalls/safety notices are issued via email and our website.
  • Keep your contact details up to date.
  • Report safety issues with photos to [email protected].

13. Disclaimers

  • These guidelines do not replace professional coaching, federation rules, or local regulations.
  • All users accept the inherent risks of physical activity.

14. E-Licence & Warranty Information

What is an E-Licence?

A digital record linked to a product’s Serial Number showing specifications, manufacture date, purchase date, and warranty expiry.

Where to Find Serial Numbers

  • Large equipment: engraved plate or QR label.
  • Some products: QR code linking to this page.
  • Small/soft goods may not carry a serial.

Checking Warranty

  • Active: submit Warranty Request.
  • Expired: download/print the E-Licence (request disabled).
  • Not found: contact support with serial/photo.

Warranty Coverage

  • Covers defects in materials and workmanship (foam integrity, stitching, welds, valves, hardware).
  • Remedies: repair, replacement, or refund if repair is not feasible.

Not Covered

  • Misuse, unsupervised use, improper installation.
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
  • Cosmetic wear (fading, scratches), UV/heat damage, chemical solvents, mold.
  • Transit damage not reported within 3 days (see Shipping policy).

Duration & Extensions

  • Year 1: free limited warranty on large equipment.
  • Optional paid extensions up to 5 years (fees apply).

Filing a Warranty Request

Submit:

  • Serial number, order number, purchase date.
  • Photos/videos of the issue.
  • Contact details via form.

You’ll receive confirmation and a case reference. Our team responds within 3–5 working days.

After Approval

  • We’ll issue an RMA if applicable.
  • Remedy may include on-site repair, parts, replacement, or refund.
  • Shipping instructions will be provided in writing.

Warranty data is processed per our Privacy Policy (PDPL). Submission constitutes consent.
